WITH A PROFESSIONAL MOUNTAIN GUIDE, PHOTOGRAPHER & BARISTA

OVERVIEW

The guardian of the Mother City, Table Mountain National Park is a special place that fully deserves the attention it demands. Summiting the mountain means reaching a total height of 1084 meters above sea level (3550 ft) where you’ll play witness to some of the most memorable views of your time in South Africa. There are a number of different routes and angles of approach hikers can use when making the ascent, one should however always make use of a local guide to amplify your experience and ensure your safety.

THE HIKE

We will hike up Table Mountain via a suitable route based on your fitness level, interests and sense of adventure. We try and beat the crowds by starting our hike before sunrise allowing you to experience and capture the best possible light. Along the way you will learn about the unique vegetation found on the mountain which forms a part of the Fynbos Kingdom; the world’s smallest but most diverse floral region. There are more species of plants on the mountain than there are in the entire United Kingdom! Brendon will also offer some local history and photography tips & tricks. Professional and edited photographs will be taken of you during the hike and shared at a later date. Finding the best spot to make a cup of perfectly brewed local coffee or tea while enjoying the views is a given. Our descent will be via the cableway or Platteklip Gorge if the cable car is not operating.
